Large Party Reservations

Thanks for considering Mi Chola for you special event.  No doubt you are making a very wise decision in trusting us with your special occasion.  It’s very important to us that your experience here is absolutely perfect and we’re eager to work with you in making your visit here a very pleasant and memorable one.  Along those lines, we’ve included here a list of our large party reservation guidelines for you to consider while one of our owner/ managers works with you to finalize the details. After browsing through this page, please fill out the reservation request form at the bottom so an owner/manager can get back in touch with you to proceed to the next step.

Menu Options

For groups over 25 guests, it’s required that you choose a menu plan prior to arrival.  Our various menus are designed to accommodate any type of group setting ranging anywhere from a more formal and elegant sit down experience to a more casual and rockin’ social mixer, and anywhere in between. Any of the below menus can be modified to accommodate any special requests. 

Sit Down Menu A:

Starters

Taco Bar*:

  • -Grilled Chicken, Carnitas, Carne Asada or Grilled Veggies (choice of three)
  • -Corn & Flour Tortillas
  • -Mexican Rice & Refried Beans 
  • -Shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, salsa fresca & sour cream
  • -Guacamole
  • -Chipotle Caesar Salad
  • *Taco bar setup takes away between 8-12 seats from any particular dining area.

Family Style*:

*Family style is a sit-down meal where all food is served on family style platters and everybody shares.  Final price will depend on how many options you choose, but most efficient parties will choose 2-3 starters and 1 or 2 main entrees. 


Cocktail Party:

Cocktail parties are great for more casual, mingling groups that don’t care to formally sit down and feature a light sampling of appetizers and include 1 or 2 pieces of any given item per person.  These will either be passed and/or set-up on a communal table.  The cocktail party menu isn’t intended to be a complete meal for your guests, but instead a light sampling of some very delicious, creative and unique grub.  We can, of course, accommodate heavier servings, but these menu items work best when combined with one of the menu plans above.

Pricing, Room Fees & Minimums:

Our large party pricing policy is dependent on the date and time of your event.  We’ll charge you a discounted rate should you wish to host your event on a traditionally slower day & time and we’ll charge a slightly higher rate for reservations during peak dates and times.

We also HATE having to charge room fees (and won’t if we don’t need to), but we sometimes MUST depending on your desired arrival time if it’s on a historically busy evening.  Avoidance of room fees can mostly be achieved if you are able to arrive before 6pm or later than 8pm so we can have a second seating in your location.  All parties are given 2 hours in the space and room fees may be applied if event lasts longer and if the space is needed for other guests and reservations.

Deposits:

A small deposit is generally required for very large reservations at peak times.  Deposits are only refundable if reservation is cancelled 7 days prior to event and all deposits will be credited towards your final bill.

Drink Tabs:

There are plenty of different ways we can accommodate the drinking needs of your group.  We could put everything on one tab and you take care of the bill on an open bar or you can set up predetermined parameters.  Potential parameters could be… A) Limiting your guests to house margaritas, beer, house wine and well drinks.  

B) We could supply you with drink tickets that you’d give your guest and all subsequent drinks your guests would pay for on their own.  

C) You could establish a set dollar amount that you’d want to spend (including tax and tip) and we could warn you when it’s about to be reached and let your guests know they would be responsible for subsequent drinks.

D) Have all your guests pay for their own drinks individually.

Corkage & Cake Fees:

$15 / bottle

$30 / dessert (not charged if you bring enough to share with your hard working, dessert loving service staff)
